Masvingo man drowns in Mucheke River

The lifeless body of a Masvingo man, Emmanuel Mwale, was yesterday, 22 November 2016 pulled out of  waters of the heavily polluted Mucheke river two days after he had gone missing.

It however took the bravery of three civilians to pull the body from the river after police were reluctant to act.  Mwale went missing on the night of 20 November and had last been seen earlier in the evening having some drinks with a friend at Manhede Beer Hall in Mucheke.
